My client is stable platform public sector with several Finance teams to support their finance function.

Job Description

Responsibilities :

(a) facilitating the elicitation and clarification of business requirements from a broad range of stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive and accurate understanding of project objectives;
(b) ensuring the meticulous incorporation of all relevant statutory, legal, and regulatory requirements into the project specifications;
(c) convening and leading meetings with external vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure the effective communication of project expectations and deliverables;
(d) collaborating closely with technical teams to verify the feasibility, accuracy, and completeness of the proposed project specifications;
(e) coordinating with business users on all project-related matters, including progress tracking and requirements validation, to ensure alignment and timely execution;
(f) providing support throughout the tendering process, including conducting thorough analyses and offering well-substantiated recommendations;
(g) managing administrative functions pertinent to the project's execution; and
(h) undertaking any additional duties as may be assigned by the Director of Finance or their duly authorized delegates.

The Successful Applicant

Requirement :

(a) a recognised university degree in Accounting or a closely related discipline;
(b) a professional accounting designation or an equivalent qualification;
(c) demonstrable experience in project coordination or management, preferably involving payroll or human resources systems, with active collaboration across IT departments, external consultants and vendors, stakeholders, end-users, and the Finance Office;
(d) a minimum of five years of post-qualification experience in accounting, auditing, or related fields, with prior exposure to payroll operations, compensation and benefits, and system enhancement projects considered advantageous;
(e) familiarity with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) and payroll platforms such as Oracle, IPL, or comparable systems, whether deployed on-premises or in cloud-based environments;
(f) proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, along with experience using accounting software tools;
(g) strong command of both written and spoken English and Chinese; and
(h) excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
