Our client is a global financial institution with operations across major markets. Known for its innovation and customer focus, the bank is currently undergoing a core banking system revamp to modernize its infrastructure and enhance service delivery.

Job Description

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of the core banking revamp project.
  • Manage cross-functional teams including vendors, IT, operations, and business units.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards.
  • Report progress to senior stakeholders and steering committees.
  • Drive change management and user adoption strategies.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or related field (PMP or PRINCE2 certification preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years in core banking or financial services.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex IT transformation projects.
  • Strong understanding of core banking platforms (e.g., Temenos, Finacle, Flexcube).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
