We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Compensation & Benefits Manager to oversee the full spectrum of C&B operations for a workforce of approximately 1,000 employees. This role requires strong expertise in payroll management, benefits administration, and statutory compliance, along with the ability to lead a small team and collaborate on strategic C&B initiatives.

Job Description

  • Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for around 1,000 employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and statutory requirements.
  • Manage complex payroll components including various allowances, shift payments, and special compensation arrangements.
  • Supervise and review payroll calculations prepared by the team, providing guidance and resolving discrepancies as needed.
  • Administer employee benefits programs including medical, insurance, leave, and retirement schemes (e.g., MPF).
  • Ensure timely and accurate handling of taxation matters, including annual tax filing and reporting.
  • Lead and mentor a small team responsible for payroll and benefits operations.
  • Provide expert advice and support to internal stakeholders on C&B-related matters.
  • Collaborate closely with the C&B Lead on annual review exercises, benchmarking, and ad hoc projects.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of C&B projects such as salary reviews, incentive schemes, and policy updates.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance system efficiency and data accuracy.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 6-8 years of relevant experience in C&B, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Solid knowledge of Hong Kong employment ordinances, MPF, and tax regulations.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in HRIS and payroll systems; experience with large-scale payroll operations is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English and Cantonese; Mandarin is an advantage.
